Artist's Comments

Finally cornered Cara and convinced her to "talk" to me again today. I think she's coming along well but there are still a few points i'm struggling with... that and i still haven't been able to get her butt situated. oh well...

I hate that shit, when you have a really nice drawing going along, then you get hung up on how to place one part of it, and it kinda screws everything up for a while.

Misery is not work, it is having to do someone elses work. It is having to participate in something you do not like. Being forced to agree with, forget, or accept and “move on”, day after day, with no hope of a change of pace or a way to change the pace

wow! thats awesome! well, maybe u can work on just sketching pale lines of roughly a butt, so maybe you'll eventually come upon the right line for her butt

Excellent work, I wish this were bigger so I could get the details, but it's obviously a great piece, excellent detail and anatomy. Faved!

Stunning! I've found it very interesting watching this one evolve. One thing that seems a little off (for me anyway) is her right forearm. It looks maybe a smidge too short or skinny...but otherwise this is looking magnificent. Is she coming straight out of your head, or are you using reference? Either way, very impressive! Keep up the good work!:highfive:

yeah, her right arm bugs the heck out of me too. i'm thinking to change the orientation of he elbow pad to make it look like the elbow is more mointed at the viewer, that should help the perspective and forshortening problem... the other big problem i have is that her head feels too big now.... oh well...

i'd love to post a bigger scan because believe me, a lot of detail is lost in a scan... but i've had some of my work stolen that way and i'm not to crazy about that. got any suggestions on what i can do to post large scale work but not have them taken by other "artists"?
